Feeling of a home environment
Nestled within the heart of Valparaiso, Indiana, The Learning Tree Daycare and Preschool stands as a beacon of nurturing care and vibrant education. With each dawn, its doors swing open at 7:00 am, welcoming laughter, curiosity, and boundless potential.
From the tender age of just six weeks to the blossoming years of twelve, children find a second home within these walls. Here, every nook and cranny is a canvas for imagination, every corner a stage for learning.
Learning Through Play
We believe the best way for kids to grow is through play — just like branches reaching higher and higher into the sky! Our play-based approach sparks curiosity, helping children build strong roots for learning that will last a lifetime. With a big dose of fun, guidance, and a nurturing environment, we create opportunities for children to explore, imagine, and discover new things every day. Play lets them stretch their creativity, solve problems, and express themselves in ways that are exciting and totally their own. Just like a tree grows and changes, we watch as each child blossoms with confidence, joy, and a love for exploring the world around them!
Wise Willows Preschool Program
Our Wise Willows Preschool program is designed to help children grow strong, confident, and excited for kindergarten! We offer a full-day preschool experience that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in a fun and engaging environment. Our Paths to QUALITY accredited curriculum ensures that every child receives high-quality education with age-appropriate activities that promote early literacy, math skills, social development, and problem-solving.
With hands-on learning, play-based activities, and a focus on building social and emotional skills, we create a balanced and enriching experience for our preschoolers. Our dedicated educators guide children through their learning journey, helping them gain the confidence and independence they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. The Wise Willows program ensures each child blooms in their own time, ready to take on the next big adventure!
Treehouse Tots Program
Our Treehouse Tots Toddler Program is where little adventurers set out on their journey to grow, explore, and discover the world around them! Just like a treehouse up in the branches, our program offers a cozy, safe space where toddlers can reach for the stars as they take on new challenges. With a focus on building independence, language skills, and social confidence, we fill each day with fun, wonder, and exciting opportunities to learn through play.
Our thoughtfully designed toddler curriculum encourages curiosity, creativity, and self-expression while promoting developmental milestones in a hands-on way. From early literacy and language development to motor skills and emotional growth, every activity is tailored to nurture your toddler's unique abilities and interests. Your toddler will thrive as they climb, explore, and navigate their way through this magical time of growth!
Infant Program – Little Acorns
At Learning Tree, our Infant Program is where the smallest learners — our little acorns — are gently nurtured as they begin to grow and take root. We understand that infancy is a time of rapid development and deep connection, so our experienced caregivers provide individualized care that supports each baby’s unique rhythm. In a peaceful, loving environment, we focus on building trust through responsive interactions, soothing routines, and developmentally appropriate play.
